Joshua Clarke, PRESIDENT
Welcome to back to RPI, SHPE-Rensselaer. My name is Josh and I am proud to be your President for the 2007 - 08 academic year. Since my freshman year I have benefited tremendously from participating in SHPE, and as Treasurer last year and Internal Secretary the year before, I was privileged to take part in extending those benefits to our membership. SHPE is an incredible tool for us undergraduates because it exposes us to the professionalism that we will need to be familiar with after we graduate. SHPE exposes us to networking possibilities and job opportunities that will prove essential in our futures. However, as great as this organization is, there is always room for improvement. I see this year being tremendously successful, not only because our Executive Board is poised to bring great events and endless opportunities to you, but we are enthusiastic about building on the foundations the previous Executive Boards have left us. I am looking forward to working with the E-Board this year and I can’t encourage you enough to take advantage of the opportunities SHPE has to offer. I look forward to seeing you all at our events and good luck with your academic school year. |

Hello to all! My name’s Casandra Davila. I’m in my senior year of mechanical and aerospace engineering degree. I have been in SHPE since my freshman year, and it is an honor to be this year’s vice president. SHPE-Rensselaer has always dedicated itself to bridging our members’ academic and professional lives, and this year is sure to be an eventful and fruitful year for us. If there are any suggestions, comments or events you would like us to consider, feel free to speak to me or any other of the executive board members. We are here to facilitate things for you. Have a good school year, and I hope to get a chance to meet and speak with all of you. |
